American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society (ACS) is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization. The ACS joins other organizations and community members throughout California, the nation, and the world to achieve successes in funding research, raising awareness, and supporting new California laws.

David is also an active contributor and volunteer to The American Cancer Society, where his wife Terry is an auction committee member and the design chairwoman.

Project Cuddle is a 24 hour confidential crisis rescue program that works with women who are considering abandonment of their babies. Safe, legal and confidential alternatives to abandonment are provided.

The Remote Area Medical (RAM) Volunteer Corps is a non-profit, volunteer, airborne relief corps dedicated to serving mankind by providing free health care, dental care, eye care, veterinary services, and technical and educational assistance to people in remote areas of the United States and the world.

Founded in 1985, Remote Area Medical is a publicly supported all-volunteer charitable organization. Volunteer doctors, nurses, pilots, veterinarians and support workers participate in expeditions (at their own expense) in some of the world's most exciting places. Medical supplies, medicines, facilities and vehicles are donated.
